2012-13: *** Your financial aid eligibility for Fall 2012 and/or Spring 2013 and/or Summer 2013 will be determined based on the 2012-13 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which will be available on-line on/after January 1 using your PIN at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. You and/or your spouse OR you and/or your parent's 2011 income tax information be will needed to complete the FAFSA. Additionally, you may still be required to submit other documentation, such as tax return information, verification worksheet, etc.., upon receipt of the 2012-13 FAFSA results; and, in line with new federal regulations, please read this IMPORTANT INFORMATON regarding new FAFSA verification standards. Also, please submit the Additional Benefits/Expenses form to advise the MSU Financial Aid Office of any scholarships/benefits you may receive AND/OR child care expenses you may incur in 2012-13 as this information will be taken into account at the time we are processing your financial aid award(s); adjustments WILL BE MADE to your award(s), if necessary, if the Financial Aid Office is made aware of any scholarship(s) or additional benefits you will receive AFTER your award(s) are determined and/or disbursed. Also, you can choose to submit the Release of Information form if you want the MSU Financial Aid Office to discuss and/or release written information to your parent(s), organizations(s), etc...regarding your financial aid. And, please review the current Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) rules so you are aware of your current financial aid standing. (NOTE: Information regarding your Summer 2013 enrollment plans will be collected from you in the Spring 2013 semester).

You and/or your spouse OR you and/or your parent's 2010 income tax information be will needed to complete the FAFSA.
