State Authorizations Between Schools

In accordance with federal guidelines and State Authorization regulations,  an educational program offered by Midwestern State University must have approval, or "State Authorization," in order for a MSU student to participate in the program. Authorization must be given by the state in which the student resides, other than Texas, in order to receive Title IV financial assistance. This pertains to all educational programs, including distance education.

Midwestern State University has compiled a list of states in which State Authorization has been granted to MSU.  If approval has NOT been granted by the state, the student will NOT be eligible to receive Title IV financial assistance.

Complete details regarding State Authorizations between MSU and other states is available by contacting Pam Morgan, Director of Extended Education, at pam.morgan@mwsu.edu or call 940:397-4785.
